🍽 1 large Baked Crumble
1 can pie unsweetened pie apples
4 small bananas mashed
3 heaped tbs of raisins +_ 50g
2ts caramel essence
4eggs beaten till fluffy
50g almond flour sprinkled over
20g almond flakes
Preheat oven to 200’C
Prepare a medium size pan with non-stick spray
Over low heat, warm up the pie apples, raisins, honey, essence, salt and spice
Mash the bananas and add to the pie apple mixture and let it simmer slightly for about 10minutes
Beat the eggs in a separate mixing bowl till fluffy.
Add the pie apple mixture to the eggs, and fold in till everything is mixed well.
Pour into a prepped pie or baking dish.
Sprinkle with the almond flour and almond flakes
Place in the oven and bake for 15min, remove from the oven, garnish with whole almonds and drizzle with honey before placing it back in the oven for another 5min to bake till golden brown. (If you garnish with the whole almonds and honey before baking it, they tend to be very dark after the full 20min of baking)
Serve either warm or cold
